Will you join us, on Saturday September 4th, in support of your local cancer charity?
We will be following our usual marshalled, sign-posted 11-mile route from Chorley to Royal Preston, setting off at 8pm, and the event is open to all ages and abilities. You can walk in support of loved ones going through cancer treatment, in celebration of them, or in memory of them, or in support of friends and colleagues here at the Trust, who work hard every day to bring world class cancer care to their patients. You can treat the walk as a fundraising or fitness challenge, or simply as a social activity; it’s completely up to you. What matters is that you join us, and help us make a difference for local cancer patients by raising funds for life-changing clinical research, staff training, patient wellbeing projects, or top-of-the-range medical equipment.
It’s £15 to enter, with refreshments and medals for all walkers, and you can find out more – or sign up – at www.rosemere.org.uk/walk-in-the-dark-2021
