The Neuropathology service is based at The Royal Preston Hospital.The team of experienced neuropathologists provide specialist pathology services to the clinical neurosciences, ophthalmic surgeons, associated specialisms and Coroners within the Lancashire and South Cumbria region.The team diagnose diseases of the nervous system and muscle, carry out autopsy investigations and are also part of strategic alliances focusing on research and tissue banking.Lancashire Teaching Hospitals is a designated delivery partner for the North West Coast Genomics Medicine Centre.
