This year, the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity team are holding an online Christmas Raffle to help raise funds to support patients being treated at Royal Preston Hospital and Chorley and South Ribble Hospital this Christmas.
For £1 a ticket, participants can be in with a chance of winning big, with top prizes including a 65 inch HD 4G Samsung TV, a 14 inch Windows 10 Notebook, a Sony Playstation 4. These prizes were kindly donated by local company Audit Comms, who have worked with the Trust for many years.
Other prizes include a £20 Booths voucher, a Chocolate Hamper, a £20 Barton Grange voucher and a hamper from Morrison’s.
Roya Armstrong, Fundraising Coordinator at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said:
“Our Christmas Raffle is a fantastic way of supporting the patients in our hospitals over the festive period, all while being in with a chance to win some amazing prizes. Traditionally, Christmas is a time for families and friends to come together, but due to the pandemic things are very different this year, particularly across our hospitals, so we believe it’s more important than ever that we help make it a little better for our patients when I’m sure they wish they could be at home. I want to say a huge thank you and good luck to everyone who has entered our raffle so far, and I really hope others get involved to help spread some festive cheer this Christmas!”
The closing date for entries is midday on Thursday 17th December 2020. The draw will take place on Friday 18th December 2020, and you must be over 16 to play.
