Baby Beat, the charity which supports babies and mothers being cared for at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals, is throwing its support behind its ambassador Ranvir Singh, who the charity hopes is quick stepping her way to winning the famous Strictly Come Dancing glitter ball.
Award-winning presenter and political editor for ITV’s Good Morning Britain and previously presenter of BBC North West Tonight, Ranvir is a household name, and has been a proud ambassador for Baby Beat in recent years. Ranvir, who is local to Preston, has raised money for Baby Beat by running a marathon and even appeared on a celebrity version of The Chase in support of the charity’s cause.
Baby Beat Temporary Manager Cathy Skidmore said:
“The team at Baby Beat were delighted when we found out Ranvir would be competing on the show – and both her Paso Doble and Quick Step dances have been amazing! We wish Ranvir every success with the show - best of luck!”
