Baby Beat Cross Bay Walk

Baby Beat are delighted to announce that registration for this years Cross Bay Walk, on Saturday, 9th July, is now OPEN!

Do you fancy joining us this year, to help raise funds for innovative, life-changing projects for the benefit of the babies, mums, and mums-to-be cared for here on the maternity, neonatal, and gynaecology wards at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust?

It’s always a fantastic, fun event, whatever the weather, and the route from Arnside Pier across the sands of Morecambe Bay to Grange, led by the Queen’s Guide Michael Wilson, is truly stunning. It costs £15 to enter, or £20 if you’d like to order a Baby Beat t-shirt to wear on the day too. The walk (or sometimes, wade) normally takes 3-4 hours to complete, and children from the age of eight are welcome to join us – unfortunately though, due to the nature of the terrain, this particular event isn’t suitable for younger children, pushchairs and wheelchairs, or those with limited mobility.

Last year, our fab Baby Beat walkers helped to raise a wonderful £4,500 through the event, in support of the babies and families that our amazing clinical colleagues care for – and we’d love to beat this total this time around!

Our 2021 Cross Bay Walk was an absolute sell out, and we only have a limited number of places available this year too, so please don’t delay if you want to join us on the sands this July. You can find out more, or even better, sign up now, here on our website: https://bit.ly/3sMS2Pk

Don’t miss out and join us!
