NHS Blood and Transplant has launched a campaign to encourage more people of Black heritage to come forward and donate blood.
The campaign is coinciding with Black History Month and is partly in response to a growing need for blood donations to treat sickle cell disease.
Please find attached a communication toolkit which builds on NHS work around sickle cell awareness and incorporates some of the key messaging and aims of NHSBT’s campaign.
