During #BabyLossAwarenessWeek, we took the opportunity to remember lives lost too soon.
Our Walk to Remember started the week in the autumn sun in Avenham Park, as memories of all-too-brief times shared were lovingly recalled.
Then our ED in Preston and Sharoe Green Unit was illuminated blue and pink to commemorate the babies gone too soon, in support of all those affected by such a loss.
And a remembrance service was also held in the Hospital Chapel at Royal Preston Hospital, for all who have experienced the loss of a baby through pregnancy, miscarriage, stillbirth, or neonatal death.
Granada Reports came down to the maternity suite during the week to hear two brave couples share their stories and memories of the children they have sadly lost, and you will be able to see the feature this evening from 6pm on ITV.
*The sitting teddies represent the little owners they lost, whom they miss very much.
