Luke Jackson, a staff nurse on Astley Ward – Clinical Investigations United at Chorley District Hospital has been pounding the pavements in October to raise funds for the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals' Charity Children’s Appeal.
Luke set himself a target of running 80km over the month, running home from work every night.
And, after completing 75km, he completed the Lincoln 10km on Sunday – running in the Trust charity t-shirt – to round things off in style.
That took him to a mammoth 387, 978 steps in total through the month, and his fundraising total currently stands at £250, easily beating his initial target of £100.
