The charity, Thrombosis UK has launched a new patient information app to help provide people with reliable information about blood clots and venous thromboembolism (VTE).
The app, which is called ‘Let’s Talk Clots’, is free to download, access and use. Information shared on the app has been developed and written in collaboration with individuals with personal experience of blood clots and UK healthcare professionals. The name of approved therapies on the app are also based on UK approved health guidelines. The ‘Let’s Talk Clots’ app is provided free of charge and is available in the Apple and Google Play app stores from 21st November 2023.
