Patient parking charge increase

Colleagues should be aware that patient parking charges has also increased on our sites with the update below:

With effect from 8am on Tuesday 1 October 2024 the Trust will be making a small increase to some patient parking charges across its sites which reflects increases in inflation.  Please note that some patient groups are exempt from any charges, and in some circumstances patients and visitors are entitled to concessionary rates which are listed below, so please check if these apply to you.

Patient parking for those who need to pay will continue to be free for 30 minutes, after which charges will be increased by 3.9%. Rates will increase by 10p for up to an hour to £2.90, and 20p for up to two hours, to £4.00. For up to four hours, there will be a 20p increase to £6.20, up to six hours will now cost £6.90, up 30p, and for up to eight hours, it is now £9.20 (up 40p). It will remain £10.00 for 24 hours and £30.00 weekly.

The Trust does all that it can to keep car parking costs as low as possible, and will continue to do so, whilst balancing the need to take inflation into account on an annual basis.
