Biography
Mr. Markose is a Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon accredited on the GMC Specialist Register for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and GDC Specialist Register for Oral Surgery. He graduated in Dentistry in 1998 and completed a 3-year Masters programme in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 2004. Thereafter he went to medical school qualifying MBChB from the University of Manchester in 2011. Basic surgical training and higher surgical training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery were completed in the Northwest of England leading to the Intercollegiate Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
He currently specialises in Head & Neck Cancer, Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery and complex facial trauma. He has a special interest in dental and facial implant retained reconstruction of facial defects.
In addition to his clinical practice, he has a significant commitment to medical education. He is actively involved in teaching undergraduate medical students and mentoring Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery trainees. He is an Examiner for both the University of Manchester Medical School and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
