Contact number: 01257 247104
Anticoagulant medicines reduce the ability of the blood to clot, and are used to prevent a range of conditions including strokes and heart attacks. The Haematology Department provides a complete anticoagulant service, including INR (blood clotting time) tests and calculating the correct dosage of anticoagulant. Regular anticoagulant clinics are held at both hospitals.
You can access the anticoagulant service via a referral from your GP.
