The Temporary Staffing department matches workers to various ad hoc and temporary placements within our organisation. We currently match qualified and unqualified nursing and midwifery workers and admin workers to placements throughout our sites. Our temporary workforce are vital in helping us to deliver safe and effective care to our community.
We offer ad hoc, flexible shifts that can work with personal circumstance and commitments. Using Employee Online (EOL), you can let us know your availability, which is then matched to shift requirements across the hospital. Whatever your availability, we value your skills and experience, and can provide you with a fantastic opportunity to work with us in a way that suits your lifestyle.
*Please note: to join as a Bank Healthcare Assistant (HCA), recent & relevant health care experience in an acute hospital setting (at least 150hrs in the last three months) is required for this role*
Our bank staff payscale is in line with current rates. For staff who hold an existing post and a bank post of equal measure, pay will be matched by band points. For bank only staff, you will be paid depending on which band you come under:
- Band 1: minimum band point
- Band 2: pays 2nd point on the band
- Band 3 and above: pays 3rd point on the band
