Patient meal ordering system – MenuMate
Healthy eating is vital when people are in hospital.
We use an online patient meal ordering system at the Trust to ensure patients have access to our wide variety of options, including vegan and vegetarian options, multicultural choices, and gluten free menus.
IDDSI patients are catered to with a wide variety of choices daily.
The iPad ordering system allows patients to access information such as healthy eating choices, and allergen content.
We understand that when people are ill or require surgery their tastes may change rapidly; our system enables patients to order meals just hours before eating them, increasing their sense of wellbeing, and enabling us to reduce food waste.
