We understand that our hospitals are YOUR hospitals and it is important that our patients, their loved ones, and the local population, are involved in decision making about the care and services that we provide.
Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) is all about our staff engaging and consulting with patients and the public to identify your needs, so that you are empowered to have a real influence surrounding the services offered by us.
We believe that by consulting with local people we will have a better understanding of your issues and in turn will be able to communicate with you the issues faced by us as an organisation.
We have multiple service user groups and forums covering all different aspects of patient care and we need our patients and communities to be involved.
Your experience and advice will help us shape our services and help us achieve the best we can in patient experience.
